An advanced biological treatment option adapted for municipal, commercial, and industrial projects
Premier Tech Environment provides a complete line of treatments using sequential biological reactors, which are collectively called the EcoProcess SBR. This type of treatment operates in “batch-process mode” and is controllable in time. Such technologies are classified according to inflow method, type of fermentor or equalization tank, or how they are combined with other existing processes to create innovative treatments likely to meet specific needs. EcoProcess SBR is a proven, remarkably advanced technology whose potential continues to grow.
Depending on the quantity and flow to be treated, Premier Tech provides a choice of two EcoProcess SBR options:
The BioSequencer TM
Each BioSequencer TM is designed for a specific application according to a mass balance that is based on the specific characteristics of the water to be treated. This conventional fill-draw type of technology uses either coarse or fine bubble diffusions or jet aeration. By using pre-fermentation to change the water quality and setting the final reactor to fast feed, we implement important process controls that increase the efficiency of the reactions needed for biological phosphorus removal. The BioSequencerTM uses a precise sequence adapted to each municipal and industrial installation.
Advantages:
- High performance biological nitrification, denitrification, and phosphorus removal
- Reliable process
- Low investment costs (process control enables reductions in the size of the SBRs, as well as the aeration and mixing equipment)
- Lower energy costs
The OxiSequencer TM
The OxiSequencer TM provides a practical and elegant solution for small treatment plants, often serving small groups of homes, commercial buildings, or residential developments. This technology is an ingenious combination of a septic tank with a sequence batch reactor, which produces tertiary quality effluent while efficiently managing sludge production over the long term.
The OxiSequencerTM includes two reactors operating in series. The first reactor (BioSeparater TM) is operated under static and anaerobic conditions, while the second reactor’s (BioSequencer TM) biological mass is controlled using a treatment sequence where anoxic, anaerobic, and aerobic conditions are alternatively used to meet specific effluent treatment criteria.
Advantages:
- Hydraulic load equalization
- Sedimentation, pre-fermentation, and stabilization of solids
- Energy savings
- Automated operation using logic controls
- Complete sludge management for 5 to 15 years
